I think these were two of my first official group of OCs that weren't connected to groups.
To the left is Robinfeather, whose design was changed from brown with red chest and yellow eyes to present description. To the right is Thistlescar, whose design was less changed whereas he was more dappled and had violet eyes instead. They're both at least two years old? Yeah. (Not their age, their creation age.)

Story goes that Thistlepaw let some kits go outside of camp with him when a pack of dogs, which had been scented around before, and kills all but one o the kits and wounds Thistlepaw. In shame, he flees and a ShadowClan patrol finds them. On the patrol is Robinpaw, who is close to becoming a warrior whereas Thistlepaw just received his apprentice name a few moons ago.

ShadowClan accepts Thistlepaw into the Clan and he becomes best friends/rivals with Robinpaw. Their warriorship was kind of undecided, but the rest of the story goes that Robinfeather becomes deputy and leaves Thistlescar behind. Thistlescar plots and murders Robinfeather and then goes to become deputy, rules ShadowClan and tries to take over the forest.
There was a oneshot created on the AU where Thistlescar convinces Robinfeather to rule with him.

Nowadays, it was decided that Thistlescar was teased heavily by the ShadowClan apprentices and Robinfeather always went along with it until one day Thistlepaw just snaps and storms away and Robinpaw goes to apologize to him for their behaviour and how they shouldn't have said that about ThunderClanners/him and they become wary friends. Which, as it so happens, is what the above scene and song selection is about. As it happens, Robinpaw develops a sort of crush on Thistlepaw and despite their rocky frienship would have done anything for him (i.e. rule the Clans with him) but he instead gets murdered without the idle chitchat. Thistlepaw is aromantic asexual so he's oblivious to it and is torn between hating Robinpaw's guts and seeing him as a cautious ally/comrade until the rank of deputy and succeeding as the Clan's leader gets between them.
